What CAMAD Do…

CAMAD is a volunteer bureau/ community support charity formed in 1998. We have 8 trustees, 19 volunteers 2 part time staff.  We are open Tuesday to Friday and based in the grounds of the Cottage Hospital on Forge Road.  We are funded through charitable grants, PCC, PLHB as well as fundraising and donations.

Our aim is to promote and facilitate volunteering within Machynlleth and the Dyfi valley as well as plugging gaps in statutory services available locally.  This, along with our Wellbeing services, assists more vulnerable members of our community to live healthier, happy lives.

Services available …
