Groundwork North Wales are passionate about voluntering and offer lots of opportunities in many different areas.

Whether you're looking to gain work experience and broaden your horizons, fulfil your passion in environmental issues or simply want to give a few hours a week to a cause that benefits your community, Groundwork  North Wales is the organisation that can help you to do something special.

Our Trust regularly work with volunteers, and getting involved in one of our projects could put you in a strong position to obtain full-time work - in fact many of our existing staff began their careers with us as volunteers. From administrative to practical 'hands-on' roles we can offer something to suit everyone.


GREEN SPACES VOLUNTEER ASSISTANT
This opportunity offer volunteers the chance to learn practical conservation skills in an outdoor setting. Giving the opportunity to meet other like-minded individuals and take positive action toward a greener Wales.

GARDEN ASSISTANT VOLUNTEER
To support Community Garden Network in developing community gardening projects and encourage healthy living and activity based around the outdoors.

CYCLING PROJECTS VOLUNTEER
Assist in the development, planning and delivery of a variety of outdoor, community cycling projects and activities across North East Wales.

ENERGY PROJECTS VOLUNTEER
Assist with the development, planning and delivery of a wide variety of carbon reduction and green energy projects with communities, businesses and schools across North Wales.

ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION VOLUNTEER
Assist and support in the delivery of a wide variety of environmental education programmes and activities for children and young people.

GREENER COMMUNITIES PROJECTS VOLUNTEER
Assist in the delivery of a wide variety of outdoor, practical based environmental and community projects to create greener communities across North West Wales.

YOUTH WORK VOLUNTEER
Assist in the delivery of a wide variety of outdoor, environmental and community projects with young people.
